Here’s The Marvels’ trailer

Holy crap that was cheap.

Firing Victoria Alonso is completely justifiable on the basis of that trailer alone. She was in charge of production, this was her department. This looks about as bad as Antman 3. The costuming looks cheap, the sets look cheap, the effects look cheap and this thing cost close to $300 million.

Inconsistent tone? Of course.

Inappropriate humor constantly peppered throughout? Naturally.

No one men allowed? It’s a Marvel film!

Marvel is going to be so brand damaged after this I honestly don’t know if Guardians of the Galaxy 3 actually can crack the $900 million mark.

You know how I’ve been saying that the Zoomers haven’t created a franchise yet? Well, if Mario goes over a billion then I would have to say that has changed.

This video has knocked it out of the park with Zoomer boys.

Career Opportunities was arguably the worst film John Hughes made. The movie was cringe as hell to watch, the plot was non-existent, and Hughes clearly couldn’t decide which of his own films he was trying to rip off.

Yet for all of that, I get why Zoomer boys, (65% of whom describe themselves as single), are left with a sense of longing when looking at this scene. Connelly keeps looking at this average clod like he’s something special. It’s the way any boy wants a girl to look at him, especially when he’s lonely.

Just try talking to a girl. It’s not that difficult.

LAST

I like the Hong Kong cinema vibe of this one. It makes me nostalgic for 80s music videos. They had a story to tell and so does this one.
