Eternals is (or rather was) Officially Rotten

The Eternals was at 59% at Rotten Tomatoes (briefly). The SJWs absolutely freaked out over a deliberately and overtly Woke Marvel movie getting a certified Rotten rating at RT. Truthfully, it should be lower, a lot of fairly negative reviews for this movie are being rated Fresh.

The positive review bombing started immediately, it is now slightly above Fresh.

Just to let you know in advance. There will be no Dark Herald Recommends on Eternals. It’s three hours long and it’s obviously boring.

I would rather watch three hours of this than watch the Eternals.

Okay, that’s not a fair comparison, Sunmi always kills it. I would rather watch three hours of this than Eternals.

Rotten Tomatoes is just that, Rotten. 💩 It’s the only thing they are truthful about. Metacritic is more reliable, at least the User Reviews are. I think.

There used to be a guy on Youtube who posted videos of himself in his kitchen standing with his back to the camera, dressed in tight trousers and riding boots, and farting. Three hours of him would probably beat Eternals.

is it really “corporate sabotage” if you merely allow the real rating to be found out?

It is if you are Marvel.
They are out of gas. Everything they do now is just a pastiche of stuff Marvel has already done. Given what the Russo Brothers have said recently, I am quite certain that Eternals was supposed to be Feige’s replacement for the Avengers as they have stated that Feige wanted all of the Avengers to die at the end of Infinity War.

How the heck was that supposed to work? The big selling point of the Avengers was never “superhero team” – it was “team-up between characters who have their own franchises”. You can’t substitute that with a bunch of people that get introduced in the same movie and that share the same basic origin.
We already knew that Feige is not the great mind behind the MCU’s success, but if this is true it means that he doesn’t even have the slightest clue how it got that far.

Look at the stories he has greenlit. There were better than 40 years of successful Marvel stories to choose from, and what did he go with?
The plotlines from the last five years, that destroyed the entire comic book market. All he ever was, was an SJW that built a successful formula for making action movies.
And now that formula doesn’t work anymore.

“There will be no Dark Herald Recommends on Eternals.”
Guess I’ll wait for the nostalgia-baiting clusterf**k that is going to be Spider-Man No Way Home.
Trivia: Eternals is the first MCU movie – aside from Iron Man 1 – to feature no established characters, not even in cameos; make of that what you will.
Question for the astute minds: a leak on Reddit from today claims that, when Feige learns about big plot leaks, he is ready and willing to alter the plot of the movies/shows; do you find that feasible?

depends on where they are in the filming process.
if it would require a lot of reshoots and/or new CGI, i’m guessing it’s a lot less likely. both because you’re adding expense to the movie and because you’re probably going to have to push release date out.
Rust OT – got a video which seems to do a better than average job of covering film / theater terms and practices ( ie- you could have prop and set guns in the same project and both could be real and functional ):

I know what’s going on with this article.
It’s a stealth ‘Dark Herald Reccomends’ for the two music videos he linked.
