Rangz Book 2: The Warm Up
The Darkness is descending upon us. Season 2 of Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will sweep over the world in less than a week now.
Amazon is making the laughable promise that they will be truer to the lore this season. The problem is they can’t be because they wrote themselves into a corner two years ago. Judging from the trailer they are clearly hoping you forgot all about it. Unfortunately this no vain hope, the show was so idiotic my brain cells that were in charge of remembering it clearly died of embarrassment. I can’t remember much about it at all.
I’m going to have to power watch my way through it again in the next week. Pity your Herald as he suffers for his Darklings.

UPDATE:
I’d forgotten how stupid this show was. Remember the part where the Orcs and Elves tunneled their way into a giant tree like they were freaking Bugs Bunny, or that the Elves couldn’t figure out that they were assembling a ancient gigantic Rube Goldberg machine whose purpose was to set off a volcano and create Mordor. WHICH ALREADY EXISTED!
2ND UPDATE: in case you had any hope at that Warner Brothers War of the Rohirrim was going to be any better, allow me to shatter those bright dreams like a Faberge Egg hit by rocket powered baseball bat. Yeah, it’s gonna suck!
