More Bad News for Marvel

CCTV6 China Movie Channel aired release dates for eight of the next ten Marvel Studios’ films, but did NOT include Shang-Chi and Eternals, which are expected to hit theaters following Black Widow on September 3rd and November 5th.

Not giving the release date is a reliable indicator that a movie has been banned in China.

I really want that to be true.
If China bans Marve’sl (and especially Disney’s) latest ‘please love me, China’ movie, then what will the devil mouse do?

I will laugh my self to death if China starts banning US movies. China had a thriving movie market of there own. They don’t need US movies.

You can’t sell me the Eternals, because you cant me care about them.
Any movie will always need to make us feel sympathy towards the main character.
When I was watching Gladiator a while back, I was amazed how much the movie sets up Maximus for maximum sympathy in the opening battle.
Even Guardians of the Galaxy was smart enough to give us Quill, an earther with a dead mom for extra points.
Why should I have a care for a group of people who hide from the rest of us, are immortal and whose major selling point is “its diversity”.
