Eldest Darkspawn: No, Dad they’re being smart.
Dark Herald: Putting Alien: Romulus out on something as completely obsolete as VHS is smart?
Eldest Darkspawn: Analog Horror! You know, it’s like analog energy. It’s like giving horror. It slaps!
Dark Herald: How does it… uh… slap?
Eldest Dark: VHS is like our Gen Z thing.
Dark Herald: I’m kind of sure it was a Gen X thing. I was there, at Blockbuster, most every Friday night.
Eldest Dark Spawn: That is so fire.
Dark Herald: No. It wasn’t fire. It sucked, they were thieves, and I’m glad Blockbuster is out of business. Anyway, you said, Analog Horror, like those two words should be capitalized.
Eldest Dark Spawn: Okay, like Analog Horror. It started like a found footage thing. But it was found VHS. It gives this mini-horror story energy. Short form, like a horror TikTok but using VHS and putting the scene in the 90s. It’s mostly images.

Mostly it’s just old commercials but those can be fun too. But sometimes you just get this scene with really sus vibes or part of a scene then you make up the rest of the story in your head.
Dark Herald: The tapes… In the attic?
Eldest Dark Spawn: Some of them are just you know like gag and creepy. Like the other day, I found this gray tape with no label…
Dark Herald: How many days since you watched that tape?!?!?!
Eldest Dark Spawn: Dad why are you…?
Dark Herald: HOW MANY DAYS SINCE YOU WATCHED THAT TA…
