No Christian White Trash Allowed, Says Disney REPOST

(2/19/24) Some of my newer readers maybe wondering why I haven’t posted anything on Elon Musk’s Tweet. The one where he talks about ABC’s “secret Inclusion standards” sheet and how horrible it is.

The reason I haven’t posted anything is that I already did nearly three years ago:

REPOST

April 15, 2021

Disney knows what it wants and what it wants isn’t you.

After a year of doing nothing but studying all the stuff that Twitter and Tumblr users are gaga about, Disney’s ABC has boldly announced its plan for failure.

Here is a letter that Exec vp for development and content strategy, Simran Sethi sent to all of ABC.

Dear friends and colleagues,

As many of you may already know, ABC Entertainment has established a new set of Inclusion Standards that we’re implementing across all of our primetime series to ensure multidimensional representation across the entire creative and production process.

These new guidelines are intended to make our content and our sets as inclusive as possible, and will serve as a further catalyst for real and sustained change.  We want to take this moment to evaluate systems and habits in an effort to remove barriers to access and opportunity. It’s important for us to look around the room, see who’s not there, and then take the steps to not only bring them in, but also set them up for success.

We are deeply committed to progress and are hopeful that these standards will help guide us to a place where our shows – behind the camera and in front – are reflective of the audience that we serve.  We look forward to collaborating with you all to reach that goal.

Your ABC executive is available to help you with any questions you may have.

Included in this email:

  1. One-page summary of ABC Entertainment’s Diversity & Inclusion Standards.
  2. Database of Talent Resources from within Walt Disney Television and from around the Industry to help connect you to diverse and underrepresented talent and crew.
  3. List of Vendors owned by members of underrepresented groups.

** These databases serve as resources rather than endorsements of any organization, company, or individual listed in the databases.  We encourage you to vet and research any potential hires.  ** These databases will be updated and revised as more resources are identified or become available; we encourage you to bookmark these pages and return to them often.

It took them a year to come with this heap of shit that I will now share with you.

As you can see acceptable mediocrity is no longer the order of the day at Disney. Tiresome and monotonous preaching is the new hotness so long as it hits all the Woke checkboxes. I suppose there is the problem of actually being entertaining but Disney hasn’t been worried about that one for years.

So long as it’s anti-White and anti-Christian, Disney is delighted to run with it. And no, that is not hyperbole on my part either.

“Those standards are definitely in effect as Walden stated on the panel, “I will tell you for the first time we received some incredibly well-written scripts that did not satisfy our standards in terms of inclusion, and we passed on them.”

The Hollywood Reporter’s Chris Gardner would provide an example of a script Walden received. He wrote, “Walden cited an example of receiving a script centered on a white family with the assumption that the diversity would come with the neighbors.”

Walden stated, “Pass. That’s not going to get on the air anymore because that’s not what our audience wants. That’s not a reflection of our audience, and I feel good about the direction we’re moving.”

What audience is this I wonder? To be more concise, does this audience that Disney is pandering to, actually exist?

One thing is for certain, they want nothing to do with the audience that built Disney Entertainment.

Best selling Castalia author Nick Cole was already familiar with the policies in question:

Hey, the important thing isn’t having an audience that exists or a business that makes money. It’s about having friends congratulate you for your Wokeness at Hollywood cocktail parties.

That’s about standards!
